How to use your Braun ThermoScan 3

Step 1

Put on a new, clean, disposable lens filter by snapping into position.

To turn the thermometer on, push the «start» button.

The thermometer is ready to use after two beeps are sounded and the non-flashing ear icon appears.

Step 2

Fit the probe snugly into the ear canal, then push the «start» button.

Step 3

One beep signals normal temperature. Audio fever indicator will trigger 2 consecutive beeps when the reading is equal or higher to 37.5°C and 4 beeps if the reading is equal or higher to 38.6 °C. The result is shown on the display.

Step 4

Gently pull off the disposable lens filter. Do not use force in removing the disposable lens filter.

The thermometer turns off automatically after 60 seconds of

inactivity.
